WHAT DOES SCIENCE SAY ABOUT IT ?

NEUROPSYCHOLOGY
Neuroscience confirms that your brain changes throughout your lifetime, which is a concept known as neuroplasticity.
Neuroplasticity, also known as brain plasticity or neural plasticity, describes a lasting change to the brain throughout an individual’s life course.
This concept describes a sequence of processes that take place in your brain in response to incoming stimuli. In other words, your emotions, behaviours, experiences, and thoughts physically change the way your brain functions.
The capacity for the brain to change its physical form and function via our emotions, thoughts, and actions, is a relatively new topic being discussed by neuroscientists and neuropsychologists.
Knowledge of our brain is evolving at a fast pace, establishing a clearer relation among why we do what we do, and how.
When you change your brain, your mind changes, and when you change your mind, you can change your life.
By default, your brain is in constant flux racing after the moment that has just past, trying to understand it, control it, and attach meaning to it. Our minds are forever grasping at what just fluttered by . . .
Neuropsychologist and meditation teacher, Rick Hanson says: "The mind and the brain are a unified system."
Your adaptable brain is open to change. And this "plasticity" means you can use your conscious mind to make lasting changes in your brain for health, wealth, happiness, and overall well-being and happiness in your life.
Neurologists Know Visualization Creates A Better Future
Scientists working at the Wellcome Trust Centre for Neuroimaging at the Institute of Neurology in London have discovered that people who visualize a better future are more likely to be able to bring that future into existence.
Vivid mental images of a better life helps to draw that life towards us. In the publication documenting their findings, the neurologists wrote: “The ability to construct a hypothetical scenario in one’s imagination prior to it actually occurring may afford greater accuracy in predicting its eventual outcome.”
